Our staff have an immense amount of passion and love for the art of dance and a gift to share their knowledge through teaching. We are thankful to have a staff who fulfill the Bella Rosa Dance Academy mission on a daily basis. They provide exceptional dance education to our community by building the dancer's confidence, artistry, and technique while instilling work ethic, responsibility, and important life lessons to develop the next generation of leaders.

  • Ms. Elizabeth

    Ms Elizabeth Ramsey, originally from Toledo, Ohio, is currently in her second season as a dance artist with the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company. She graduated from Wright State University with a BFA in dance, and was also a member of DCDC's second company for three years. She has attended several prestigious summer programs, including those under the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Her choreography has been featured in various productions, including the Toledo Repertoire Theatre's youth production of "Fiddler on the Roof," the Toledo Ballet Association's production of "The Wizard of Oz," Toledo School for the Arts' "Limitless," Wright State University's Spring Dance Concert, and various community outreach programs around the Dayton area. She has also experimented in dance for film, most recently choreographing for the WSU film department in a work titled "Anesthesiaphobia," which premiered at the Dayton Art Institute.
  • Ms. Lindsay

    Lindsay Hough, from Vienna, Virginia, started dancing at the age of 4 at a local YMCA and was inspired to dance by Miss Pat. During her early years, Lindsay danced competitively with Gainesville Dance Center (formerly known as The Dansations) under the direction of Patricia Bray. Lindsay graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance Performance with a jazz concentration. While training at East Carolina University, Lindsay performed works choreographed by Tommi Galaska and Teal Darkenwald. Lindsay has also participated in various summer dance intensive programs and studied dance at the Gus Giordano Dance Center on scholarship. Lindsay has had the privilege to work with choreographers, Ray Leeper, Marinda Davis and Amber DeGaray. Lindsay performed with Inaside Chicago Dance during the 2012-2014 seasons as a performing apprentice. While at Inaside, she worked with choreographers Richard Smith, Sarah Ford, Preston Miller and Kirsten Harvey. Since then Lindsay has performed with West End Dance Company under the direction of Amber DeGaray. Lindsay was a performing apprentice with Alluvion Dance Chicago this past year under the direction of Johnny Huntoon. She has taught and choreographed all over the Chicago land area for the last five years. Recently, Lindsay relocated to the Dayton area and is very excited to perform with Exhale Dance Tribe.
  • Ms. Beth

    Beth Wright is a dancer, choreographer, and educator of dance. A former member of the Dayton favorite Rhythm in Shoes, she has performed and taught dancers of all ages nationwide. Beth has served as adjunct faculty at Sinclair Community College, Stiver’s High School for the Performing Arts, and Pittsburgh’s Civic Light Opera Academy. Beth is a preschool and elementary teaching artist with Dayton's Muse Machine where she conducts artist residencies in elementary schools using movement, rhythm, choreography, and improvisation to allow students to view and experience state-mandated curriculum in a unique way. Some of her favorite work happens in the summer when she teaches dance and movement workshops at local library branches through Dayton Metro Library. She is currently working on projects with Puddingstone Project and can occasionally be seen clogging with local bands.
  • Ms. Michele

    Michele has been dancing since the age of three. Childhood training includes Dotties Dance Studio in Newark, Delaware, Bill Graham Dance Studio and Kim Massey School of Dance in Edmond, Oklahoma and with the Academy of Dance Arts in Middletown, Ohio during her high school years. Michele has been teaching for over 10 years and admits teaching dance, especially ballet, is a dream come true.

  • Ms. Jamie

    Jamie Rose Stoddard is a trained dancer and choreographer who has devoted her life to creating pieces of art through movement, while focussing on the anatomy of it as well. She specializes in contemporary, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, ballet, hip-hop, musical theatre and pointe but has also trained in acrobatics as well. Jamie has won many choreography awards at Regional competitions across the east coast and is the 11 & Under Choreographer of the year in 2016. Jamie realized her passion for dance at a really young age while training at Center Stage Dance Studio in Buffalo, NY. She furthered her education in dance at The University of Buffalo and Columbia College Chicago where she had the chance to partake in master classes and workshops under the direction of Martha Graham, Jose Limon, Fosse, Nico Rubio, Gus Giardano, and many others. While studying in Chicago she was a member of the professional company known as Framework where she had intensive training and many of opportunities to preform at many shows and festivals throughout Chicago. While living in Chicago Jamie also signed on with Lily’s Talent Agency and has been represented by them ever since. After Jamie’s college career she returned back to Buffalo, NY where she began teaching dance at her home studio and other studios in the area. After a year off of school she changed her educational path and began studying Exercise Science where she realized her love for the body, muscles, and joints. She quickly adapted her studies over to her teaching career and began to merge the two. While continuing her educational journey she had the opportunity to become an apprentice with Lehrer Dance Company, a Buffalo based company conducted by John Lehrer. After her time with college Jamie began traveling with the Star Dance Alliance working in many different positions within the company and learning the behind scenes work of the dance industry. Which has further led her to Ohio where she continues to pass along her passion and knowledge of the dance industry onto others. She is currently working towards her Stott Pilates Mat and Reformer Teacher Certifications and hopes one day to teach pilates in the Dayton area, while continuing to further her dance career.
